Vaginoplasty is a surgical procedure performed to tighten the loose vagina. There is a misconception that vagina does not get loose due to the elastic nature of underlying muscles. This is not a fact. Due to age factors and multiple vaginal childbirths, the vaginal muscles will lose firmness and elasticity. Thus making the vaginal opening lose.
This reduces sensitivity during sexual intercourse. This is also a controversial statement where there are stats that the vagina does not lose sensitivity. This is true but the sexual pleasure experienced when young will be different after aging and a couple of childbirths through the vagina.
The vaginoplasty procedure will surgically strengthen the muscles at the beginning of the vagina. This aids women have a better sexual life

- After the muscles are stitched, the incision near the vaginal opening is also stitched.
